Cemoro Sewu Beach, A Peaceful Hidden Gem in Jember

HALO JEMBER - Cemoro Sewu Beach is a beautiful, hidden beach in Jember, East Java. It’s known for tall pine trees, a calm atmosphere, clean surroundings, and a relaxing vibe. It’s located next to Pancer Puger Beach in Puger Kulon.

This beach also becomes popular among local visitors due to its cool trees and peaceful atmosphere.

Jember is known for its amazing nature, including mountains, waterfalls, and beaches.

Cemoro Sewu Beach is one of its best spots. According to Mulya, the head of Pokdarwis (a tourism-focused business unit managed by the village government) in Puger Kulon Village, “It’s called Cemoro Sewu Beach because there are more than a thousand pine trees surrounding the area.”

The main attraction at Cemoro Sewu is the long line of pine trees along the beach. It makes Cemoro Sewu beach different from other beaches in Jember.

There is also a 20-meter-long bridge, a popular spot for visitors to take photos. For those who get hungry, don’t worry! Many local vendors offer delicious seafood dishes that are definitely worth a try.

The cool atmosphere of the pine trees makes relaxing in the hammock or sitting in the gazebo a pleasant experience.

The facilities at Cemoro Sewu Beach are complete to ensure a comfortable visit. There is a spacious parking area that can accommodate motorcycles, cars, or even buses.

Gazebos or hammocks are available for visitors who want to relax while enjoying the sound of the waves. There are also small food stalls offering a variety of seafood and snacks.

While there are no accommodations directly at the beach, visitors can find hotels in Jember city or the Puger area.

It takes approximately 1 hour and 5 minutes to travel from the city center of Jember to the beach by motorbike or car.

The best way to get there is by using your vehicle, as there is no public transportation that goes directly to the beach. Fortunately, the road access is very good, and visitors can easily find the location on Google Maps.

The entrance ticket to Cemoro Sewu Beach is Rp 5,500 per person, whether on a weekday or a weekend.

Parking fees range from Rp 5,000 to Rp 10,000 depending on the vehicle type. The beach is open daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., which is the perfect time to enjoy the beauty of Cemoro Sewu Beach.

For the best experience, try to arrive in the morning when the weather is cool and the area is not too crowded.

Don’t forget to bring a camera or a fully charged phone, because there are many beautiful photo spots.
